Letter to Ben Sasse of Nebraska

[letter from an unnamed Nebraskan representing the majority of your voters]
Dear Sen. Ben Sasse,
I really don't know why I am emailing you. I don't believe you care about the needs of your constituents here in Nebraska. I guess it's because I know you have stood up for Pro-Life stanchly and you have defended Catholics in face of denigration by democrat senators, but defended both of those are easy pickings or at least should be.
You are well aware of the environment now after the election. There are fair questions about the integrity of the election. I have a Master's degree and a doctorate and it seems fairly easy to me to tell something is off when an old white man with possible dementia garners more votes than any other presidential candidate in the history of this great nation, after not campaigning. You may say it was because that many people hated President Trump (which mostly includes you), but people hated Donald Trump before the 2016 election and Hillary Clinton could only get around 62 million votes. The amount of hate didn't increase, just deepened among those who already hated him. Beyond the obvious examples of what may have been election fraud, there is the Constitutional question. You seem to be stuck on the Constitutional question pertaining to January 6th, only, which can be read in a couple different ways, especially when you add in the unconstitutional law from 1876. What you and many in the Senate didn't address was the unconstitutional actions taken by PA, GA, MI and WI. Each of those states ignored Article 2 of the Constitution. That didn't matter to the courts or the Senate, but it does matter to those of us who expect a fair and free election. You did nothing to help search for answers. No, you just came out and denigrated a fellow republican Senator, Josh Hawley, by saying what he was doing was a really dumbass move. You as well went in front of cameras and said, you "heard" that President Trump was happy about the storming of the Capitol. How DARE you!! You went on the national media and threw out innuendo, suspicion, designed only to bring attention to you. Conservatives all across the nation are disappointed by the spectacle of the storming of the Capitol, but it is malfeasance to insist that the President called for what was a storming of the Capitol. There are still questions as to who was involved, while we cannot honestly say Trump supporters were not involved, we can, at the same time not say other groups were not involved. Unfortunately you seem to be willing to open your mouth in situations where you do not have all available information, or the information is not yet available. That hasn't stopped you from running to a camera and running off at the mouth. Does the event at the Capitol warrant impeachment? If it does, you must impeach VP-elect Kamala Harris for her comments this summer. The truth is, President Trump said nothing that rises to the level necessary for impeachment. Your willingness to entertain such an idea makes me wonder if you have the intellect necessary to be in the Senate.
I looked at the history of the riots from this summer I did not see any evidence you called for calm or even came out against those in government who seemed to support the protests, which were in reality riots. Did you say anything when Ayanna Pressley called for more unrest in the streets? Did you say anything when the VP-elect supported Black Lives Matter protests/riots and urged more of it? How about when Kamala Harris supported bailing out the rioters? Did you say anything when Maxine Waters threated Trump, anybody working for him and his supporters? No! You did not! You are the equivalent of an Etrian Odyssey. An invertebrate poisonous leech. You have no backbone to stand up for your constituents or your President and you spew poison when you think it will benefit you. You readily come out against your own on issues that will make you look good to the mainstream media.
Will you debate Sen Ted Cruz on the election issue? I suspect no, you won't because Sen. Cruz would expose you to be the mental midget that you are.
You may wonder why I listed the topic of this email as "Civil Rights". I listed it as such because it is the Constitution that spells out our civil rights, mostly as God given rights and an election run as described or by the Constitution is part of that. That is what the citizens of Nebraska were cheated of in this election. You and many in D.C. did not investigate the election anomalies and passed it off as a normal election, when the unconstitutional means by which MI, WI, PA and GA argue against that.
I know you will ignore this letter, but let me just tell you that many business owners in the Omaha area and many in Sarpy county are starting to get together to address the issue of lack of representation in D.C., mostly because of your continued actions in D.C. You do not represent your constituents in Nebraska and certainly not the conservatives in this state, which comprise a majority of the Republican Party in Nebraska. You are probably not concerned though because you garnered more votes than President Trump did here in Nebraska. Knowing that many conservatives here in this state were not voting for you that meant you had a great number of democrats voting for you here in Nebraska. If that is your constituency, then fine, change your party affiliation. My one regret is that I could not vote against you in November. My father unexpectedly died on the night of the election and I had to leave Nebraska before I could vote in person. Had I been able to vote on November 3rd, I would have written in Clark Kent instead of voting for you. You see, Clark Kent stands for three things you do not; Truth, Justice and the American Way.
