Let Freedom Reign

Oh yeah, it sure seems we are divided nowadays. What's worse is that this virus is making it worse, not better. Yes, it it dividing us on our belief as to what is the proper way to handle it. However, it shows clearly that people have an opinion and they are not willing to give up their side. 

Wear a mask, or not wear a mask? Is herd immunity real? Does it help or hurt? What are vaccinations? Do they help or hurt?

No matter what the question is, I see people taking a stance and not backing down. THAT my friends is FREEDOM. 

OK, so I get it. I know for some of us, you, whoever, you say the government has already stolen your freedoms by telling you what to do. Yes, and NO. The guidelines they put out, the directives, even the orders, are still merely suggestions with repercussions if ignored. BUT, you, WE still have the FREEDOM to express our OPINION and DO whatever we want. Now, we may get arrested, or punished in even worse ways, but we do have the freedom to do whatever we choose. 

So, where am I going with this? Am I trying to start the Revolution? No,I don't hear the Revolution Calling, yet. But let's dig deeper...

Our forefathers were told under punishment by death, not to resist the King of England when they were trying to gain independance and freedom from a tryranical government. They knew they would die for their freedom, for our freedom, but they stood up to an entire fleet of warships (the largest in the world) and did it anyway.

The phrase, 'they fought and died for our country' IS NOT A CLICHE. It's real. Please don't doubt that History repeats itself. I am sure you heard that and if you don't believe it, then you have never studied history one bit. Even a random number generator repeats. Bet you didn't know that. That trick came in handy when I started programming computers as a kid in 1978. :)
